What does it mean when a lawyer is Board Certified?
A Board Certified attorney is considered to be a specialist or expert in a specific area of law. Board Certification is the highest form of recognition the Florida Bar can provide based on the competency and expertise of an attorney. Most of the lawyers that practice criminal law are not Board Certified. It is an honor achieved by the few lawyers who have put in the extra work necessary to have their high competence and ample experience in the field of criminal law recognized. A Board Certified Criminal Attorney is the kind of expert lawyer you should have fighting on your side.
